To Be A Child Again - Israel is a snapshot of Israel, as seen through the lives of its children. This candid view casts an intimate and personal light on its youth —what they see, how they think, what they learn, and the astonishing impact their thoughts and lives have on their country and the world they are quickly inheriting. It is their opinions that matter, as they are the ones who are creating our future!

Israel is a place that represents a significant enclave in social, political and religious spheres. It is a country with enormous differences facing great challenges. Therefore, it lends itself to a global scale from which we can explore.

For over twelve weeks of travel across Israel in the span of three years, we interviewed and took photographs of Israeli children, listened to their views on life, and saw the world through their eyes. Each one is an individual, physical and spiritual portrait, in spite of race, customs, beliefs and social status; they are universal in ideal truth.

The To Be A Child Again - Israel hardcover book comprises of 192 pages containing over 160 photographs of Israeli children from different parts of the country, accompanied by the corresponding quote from each boy or girl. The book is written in Hebrew, Arabic and English.

All photographs taken by Moy Volcovich.
